Col. Vaidyanathan Iyer (Retd.) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University, Master’s Degree (MSc) in Defense and Strategic Studies from Madras University, Master’s Degree (M. Tech.) in Energy Systems Engineering from IIT Bombay, and MBA from IIM Bangalore, where he also attended full term exchange program at HEC Lausanne, Switzerland as part of MBA curriculum in Autumn 2021. 

He has rendered 20 years of service in Corps of Engineers of Indian Army, where he held diverse roles in Leadership, Operations, Project Management and H R Development. 

In his post-retirement role, he has been a serial entrepreneur engaged in multiple bootstrapped startups and R&D activities in the field of sustainability for a greener future to replace conventional products for environmental well-being aligning to UNSD Goals. 

In a quest to assist industries and organizations migrate towards carbon neutrality, waste management and energy efficiency, he provides consultancy on green energy initiatives to reduce their carbon footprints.
